Mandy was born and raised in Surrey and started work in the NHS in 1994 as a healthcare assistant. She went on to study nursing at St Bartholomew’s School of Nursing where she qualified in 2000. Mandy initially worked in Secondary care focusing on surgical, A&E and medical nursing but moved into Primary care in 2004, where she has stayed ever since.

In 2014 Mandy gained her nurse prescribing qualification, before achieving her MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice at the University of Surrey in 2022, qualifying as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner. Mandy is passionate about Women’s Health and has a specialist interest in menopause and women’s care throughout this time.

She is married with a son and in her spare time she enjoys shopping, reading and seeing friends.
