Jon Murrell

Jon is one of our Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACP) and joined the surgery in 2022. He originally trained as a Paramedic at St Georges University, London, and worked for the NHS Ambulance Service starting in 2001. In the last 10 years, Jon went back and studied at St Georges, Cumbria and Manchester Metropolitan Universities to gain his ACP qualifications. Jon sees all patient presentations in the surgery, but has a special interest in mental health, men’s health and learning disabilities.

Jon is the Operations Manager for the surgery, managing the day-to-day clinical services and the wellbeing / social prescribing team. He is also trained in steroid joint injections and offers this service at the surgery in weekly clinics.
