Jon joined the NHS in 1999 and has worked at the Royal Surrey, South East Coast Ambulance Service and for the CQC as a Paramedic. Jon initially trained at St George’s University, London. In 2016 he went back to St George’s to train as a Specialist Paramedic Practitioner, and has since completed further postgraduate education at Surrey, Cumbria and Manchester Metropolitan Universities, gaining his Advanced Practitioner and Independent Prescriber status in 2023. Jon joined the Fort House team in March 2022 and has a special interest in child and adolescent mental health. When not at work he can normally be found in the garden or down at the coast with his family and dog braving the British weather at their beach hut.
