If you’ve found out you are pregnant, it’s best to see a midwife as soon as possible.
You can book an appointment directly with a midwife service without seeing a GP first.
Pregnancy Self-Referral
If you are more than six weeks pregnant you can now book your maternity care directly for maternity services by completing one of the following hospitals self-referral form.
Urgent 24/7 Maternity Triage Line
The Call a Midwife 24/7 urgent maternity triage line is available to anyone who:
- is 16 weeks pregnant or more
- has an urgent maternity or newborn related concern that needs immediate midwifery advice
- has not been discharged by their community midwife
