Social Prescriber
FHS has a Social Prescriber who can provide practical advice and help you to access non-clinical
local services. Please request an appointment.
Citizens advice
FHS has a Citizens advisor who can support with applications for possible financial and housing
support. Please request an appointment.
Local and national services:
If you are a new patient under the care of St Peter’s and Ashford hospital waiting to be allocated a cancer nursing team, and/or have questions about your care, you can call their single point of access cancer support line on 01932 726 856 between 09:00am and 17:00pm, from Monday to Friday.
The Patient Cancer Support Group – Shepperton
The Patient Cancer Support Group offers information and emotional support to anyone affected by cancer. The group gives people the opportunity to meet others with shared experiences. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 13:30pm, and there are frequent professional guest speakers. Please contact the group organiser for more information.

CREST Cancer Support
CREST is a local charity which supports anyone affected by cancer in Runnymede, Elmbridge, Spelthorne and the surrounding areas, through:

The Fountain Centre
The Fountain Centre is an independent charity located on level B within St Luke’s Cancer Centre at the Royal Surrey Hospital. They provide emotional and holistic support, information and signposting, both online and face-to-face for you and your family. Self-referral is available via their website or by telephone.
