Dr Teague trained at Imperial College London, qualifying in 2007. After qualifying she worked in hospitals in North West London, before moving to the West Midlands where she spent two years doing anaesthetics jobs. Returning to London, she completed an MSc in Tropical Medicine and International Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical medicine, before training as a GP in Tower Hamlets. Having completed her GP training in 2012, she spent two years as a Population Health Improvement Fellow with Southwark CCG. During this time she worked at a GP surgery in Elephant and Castle, worked for Southwark CCG, and completed a Masters degree in Public health at Kings College London. She began working in Surrey in 2017, and started work at Fort House in 2023.

Dr Teague has an interest in occupational medicine, population and public health, and addressing health inequalities. She is a Professional Lead for the North West Surrey Alliance, a Non-executive Director on the board of the local GP Federation (NICS), as well as being the Health Inequalities Lead for the PCN.

Outside of work she lives with her husband and three children in Weybridge, and enjoys reading and running.
