A range of mental health services are available locally and online, many of which can be accessed without a GP appointment. The links below bring together trusted services and resources across a range of mental health needs, from general wellbeing support to specialist services.

Children’s Mental Health

Resources for children, young people, and families. All services below can be accessed without a GP appointment.

  • YoungMinds – the UK’s leading charity for children and young people’s mental health, with resources for young people and parents
  • The Mix – free confidential support for under 25s
  • Kooth – free, anonymous digital mental health support for young people
  • The Eikon Charity – free mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people in Surrey
  • Family Lives – free support for parents and families

Maternal Mental Health

Support for mental health during pregnancy and the postnatal period. If you are struggling, you can also request an appointment at the surgery.

 

Wellbeing: Local Groups & Community Support

Social connection plays an important role in mental health and wellbeing. Being part of a group or community activity can help reduce isolation and improve mood. Please visit our Wellbeing page to find out more about our Wellbeing Team and the range of support on offer.
