A range of mental health services are available locally and online, many of which can be accessed without a GP appointment. The links below bring together trusted services and resources across a range of mental health needs, from general wellbeing support to specialist services.
General Mental Health Support
Support for stress, anxiety, low mood, and other common mental health concerns:
- Healthy Surrey – a range of local support services for mental wellbeing
- Mind Matters Surrey – free NHS talking therapies for Surrey residents aged 17+
- Sport in Mind – uses sport and physical activity to support people experiencing mental health problems, with sessions running across Surrey
- The Lucy Rayner Foundation – counselling and mental health support groups across Surrey
- The Mary Frances Trust – free mental wellbeing support for Surrey residents aged 16+, self-referral accepted
- The Counselling Partnership – an independent local charity providing professional, affordable one-to-one counselling to adults facing a variety of difficulties
- CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) – free confidential helpline and webchat, open 5pm–midnight daily. Call 0800 58 58 58
Children’s Mental Health

Maternal Mental Health
Support for mental health during pregnancy and the postnatal period. If you are struggling, you can also request an appointment at the surgery.
